Let’s talk.

We’d love to learn how we can support your clients’ strategies as your video partner.

Questions?
We have answers.

During pre-production, your role typically includes providing input on the overall vision, brand guidelines, and any specific messaging or goals you want the video to achieve. You’ll collaborate with our creative team on key decisions such as:

  • Creative Consult: You get to meet with your dedicated account manager to share an overview of your project needs and goals. Your account manager will partner with you to create a scope of work tailored to your video project.
  • Project Kickoff: Once we decide to partner together, to begin the project kickoff you’ll onboard onto our production management platform prior to your creative call with your dedicated creative team.
  • Creative Direction: Once a creative direction is set, you’ll be able to review and provide feedback on any scripts, storyboards, locations or talent choices depending on what assets you’ll need based on your style of video.
  • Collaboration: We’ll rely on your approval for elements like the final script or talent selection – again depending on your project’s scope.

Once the pre-production phase is complete, your involvement can be as hands-on or as hands-off as you’d like.

Ultimately, your role is to guide the vision, while our team manages the technical and creative details.

The first day of production marks the beginning of execution once the strategy has been finalized. At this point, our team will begin assembling all necessary elements to bring your vision to life. Depending on the project’s requirements, this could involve finalizing logistics, securing talent, organizing equipment, and preparing the crew.

The goal on this day is to ensure that every part of the plan is in place, allowing for a smooth execution of the project. Our team handles all the technical and logistical details, so you can feel confident the project is progressing efficiently.

Here’s a breakdown of the key roles in the production process:

  1. Producer: This person will be your main point of contact, managing the overall project, timeline, and communication between you and the production team.
  2. Creative Producer (CP): For scripted projects, a CP collaborates with you to ensure the script and storyboard are aligned with your vision. Once the creative strategy is finalized, they oversee the creative aspects of the production, ensuring the video is executed according to the plan.
  3. Crew: This includes roles such as the videographer, gaffer, sound technician and more. The specific crew members are selected based on your project’s scope and needs.
  4. Editors (Post-production): After filming, our team sends the raw footage to our team of editors who handle the entire post-production process, including editing the footage, color correction, sound design, adding music, and finalizing the video. They work through multiple rounds of edits to ensure the final product meets your expectations.

Lemonlight assembles the exact crew needed based on the scope of your project to ensure high-quality results.

Standard Timeline: The timeline will depend on your style of video. Typically the end-to-end video production process can take between 5 to 12 weeks. Don’t worry, your dedicated producer will manage this to keep your project on schedule.

Rushed Timeline: If you need the video sooner, Lemonlight offers rush timelines, which can shorten the timeline to as quick as 2 to 5 weeks for some projects. Please note, rush services come with an additional fee and will require quicker approvals and decisions on your part.

Lemonlight can adjust the pace based on your needs and project complexity. We ensure to keep you informed at every stage to avoid any delays.

Your valued feedback is essential and is taken into consideration throughout the entire production process. We also factor this into your timeline, which you will receive at the start of your project.

In terms of revisions, typically you will receive an initial rough cut to review, after which you can provide feedback. Most projects offer three rounds of edits, but you’re not solely limited to these. You can also schedule alignment calls with your producer at any point throughout the process to ensure things are headed in the right direction.

Our goal is to make sure the final product reflects your vision.
